This blog is about my experience with Alopecia, who I am forced to live together with. Alopecia has been my companion since my childhood. It arrived into my life as Alopecia Areata and over the time developed itself into Alopecia Universalis. If you are interested in learning more about this disorder, I would propose to visit NAAF's site.

In my blog, which is available only in Hungarian so far, I write about the long way I did until I could accept my condition and began to live a full life. Sharing my experience is on the one hand a good way to see myself from a different angle which helps with writing the tension out of me, but on the other hand I would also like to help others to cope with this kind of disorder. I like presenting inspirational stories of fellow sufferers from all over the world to show that it is possible to sign peace with Alopecia. In addition, in Hungary people know so little about Alopecia Areata, Totalis and Universalis that my blog might also contribute to raising awareness.

Since December 2010 we have a group on Facebook, which helps the Hungarian fellows with daily communication, and we have regular meetings as well.

In case you would be interested in the Hungarian awareness raising campaign about Alopecia Areata, Totalis and Universalis, you can visit the Facebook page of the kaTARzis exhibition and you can read about its background in English and in Spanish.
